Well, I guess the period of America United has come to an end. And who has dusted off his old-Anti-American rhetoric from his communist-hugging, military-loathing, flag-burning days at Oxford?

Yes, our former president Bill Clinton, who said yesterday that terror has existed in America for hundreds of years and the nation is “paying a price today” for its past of slavery and for “looking the other way when a significant number of native Americans were dispossessed and killed.” (Sort of like Democrats looked the other way when he was trashing the constitution, exploiting and TERRORIZING women, and lying under oath).

I am waiting now, to see if those same critics who castigated Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell for daring to suggest that the attacks of 9-11 were a result of God’s judgment against the US for our position on abortion, and other social issues, will judge Clinton that harshly.

But if we are in the blame mode, why go back to slavery? Why not just go back to the Clinton Administration and suggest that if he had not used the Oval Office as a brothel, the White House as a hotel, the military as the driver of his getaway car, the Justice Department as his hired gun, The Chinese as his bank, and the gullible, biased press as his personal PR firm, then none of this would have happened.

But Bill, still wrapping the cloak of “victim” around his self-mutilated ego, has even been quoted as saying, “If the FBI hadn’t been so busy trying to dig up dirt on me, none of this [Sept. 11] would have happened.”

Try? No one had to TRY. He makes the Charlie Brown character, Pig Pen, look hermetically sealed. But what about the “dirt” he is stirring up to try and divide the nation over actions that not one single living person in this country is guilty of committing?

We should not hold our breath expecting a consistent, rational, selfless statement to issue from this pathetic little man. But we can hold our nose so the stench of rotten ideologies, reeking rhetoric, and foul self-righteous smugness, spewing forth from this man does not defile a wounded, yet healing nation.

For the US… Are the Insults Worth the Money We Pay?

The international directive of the United Nations, when established over 50 years ago as a direct result of WWII, was to maintain international peace and security, to develop friendly relations among nations, to achieve international cooperation in solving humanitarian problems and in promoting respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.

On one of the occasions I have had to testify before the UN General Assembly, I challenged their understanding of their original directive and the alternate course that directive has taken in the years . . . not one ambassador stood to refute my claims.

By silence, they were acquiescing to the assumption in America that the United Nations has outlived its usefulness, lived up to its prime directive during the cold war, but is no longer relevant as its original purpose and its continued failures show.

To set the record straight on what the US owes the UN…. The United States charges no money for the UN building to be situated on prime real estate in the heart of Manhattan. They pay no taxes, and all the people who work there pay no taxes, and only 7.1% of the employees are American.

Every single country gets exactly one vote on every issue brought before the general assembly and its various Sub-committees. The United States is democratically bound to countries with a smaller population than Rhode Island, yet we are responsible for over 25% of the total funding for the United Nations.

For example, Fiji’s assessment for 1998 was $47,636, while the United States was billed $297,727,256. And that doesn’t include $901,000,000 to the UN affiliated and international organizations and $210,000,000 or almost 30% of the total cost, for peacekeeping missions. Add to that, $2,972,900,000 that was diverted from the training and readiness of our U.S. armed forces and given to the U.N. Security Council. So we voluntarily gave almost three times as much as we were required to pay.

Additionally, President Clinton approved, in 1998, a reduction in the minimum assessment a country must pay to be a member of the U.N. for .01% to .001% of the regular U.N. budget, yet the U.S. assessment was not reduced at all.

This is about $10,516 for 29 countries for 1998. Forty-one other countries pay between .002 and .009%, or $21,032 to $94,647, four countries pay .01 or $105,163 and 84 other countries, including Communist China, pay less than 1% of the total U.N. budget.

But the American’s continue to pay over 25% of the U.N. budget or 28,312 times more than 29 countries pay. Russia pays 2.8 percent of the budget and Egypt, which received $2.1 billion in foreign aid for the American taxpayers in 1998, pays less than a million dollars to the UN. annually. And they voted against the United States 61% of the time in 1997. India, which received $134,000,000 in foreign aid from the U.S. pays .3% of the regular U.N. budget and they voted against the U.S. 76% of the time in 1997.

Now let’s re-access the question . . . who owes who?

The Washington Post reported yesterday (October 29, 2001) that the FBI were hesitant to investigate radical Islamic clerics in the US despite evidence that their mosques have been used to recruit and fund suspected terrorists. They feared charges of religious persecution.

The FBI’s fear of investigating religious leaders is illustrated by its handling of Sheik Omar Rahman, the radical Islamic leader who came to the US in 1990 with a history of alleged, involvement in terrorism. He was even detained in Egypt after the assassination of Anwar Sadat, in 1981. During the 1990s he raised money at religious gatherings and preached antagonistic views against the US and our interests. Two of his sons work with Bin Ladin.

With all this evidence of ties to terrorism he was never questioned by the FBI, until after the first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 which proved that he was a central figure in that terrorist act and in the bombings of the embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. The article goes on to mention other Muslim religious leaders who are directly involved with terrorists acts but were never under surveillance until after it was too late.

But during this same time that our government was wearing kid gloves with KNOWN terrorists, they themselves were terrorizing benign Christian groups for distributing voter guides and suggesting that their congregation vote according to their beliefs. The Church of Pierce Creek was targeted by the IRS and eventually lost it’s tax exempt status. They weren’t holding fundraisers like Buddhist temples did for Gore. They weren’t allowing candidates to come in and give political speeches as several black churches in New York City did for Hillary Clinton. They were simply exercising their free speech rights to educate people about the political process. And the pastor at the Church of Pierce Creek, certainly wasn’t planning to plant bombs that kill people.

So why, when there is a known threat against the country by an Islamic terrorist, do his religious beliefs take precedence over national security, yet when there is no threat to national security, only the exercise of free speech, a Christian preacher is routed out and his church closed? Hopefully we will see an end to this disparate treatment against Christians and the government will do what it is authorized to do and that is to protect our national security.

Where have all these peace marchers, who are protesting the US retaliation against acts of war on our country, been in the past 8 years?

These are not teenagers who have suddenly come of age, clueless about the seriousness of the devastating attacks on US soil on September 11. These are seasoned educators and professional agitators who take every opportunity to trash America while pretending to take a moral high ground.

So again, I ask, where were they when President Clinton was dropping bombs on Sudan and Afghanistan in 1998 to distract the world from his infidelities?

Where were they a year later when we decided to send troops into a sovereign nation and target their leader, Milosovich, for destruction?

Again, suspiciously timed to move Clinton’s personal problems off the front page.

This was a country that posed no threat to the US, had been fighting for centuries, and had never attacked the US. Why weren’t these peace-idiots marching and using their worn out slogans like, “The US is an imperialist country?”

Why weren’t the enlightened and concerned college professors rallying their gullible students to protest President Clinton’s acts? Why were they somehow justifying it based on flimsy human rights arguments that could also be applied against the Kosovo Liberation Association?

And if they were so concerned about human rights violations, why are they so obviously silent on human rights violations in dozens of other countries in the world?

I suggest that we give these peace activists one-way tickets to Afghanistan, and encourage them to march over there. And of course, because Afghanistan is just like the US, they will obviously let them march, and of course pay for them to come back. Or . . . maybe not.

Wayne La Pierre, Exec. VP of the NRA hit the nail on the head when he said the President is exploiting the deaths of young children to continue his effort to disarm law-abiding Americans.  The White House was outraged by such accusations… but the facts speak for themselves.

More children are killed in automobiles, by sudden infant death syndrome, by child abuse and neglect in a year than are killed by guns. There are approximately 137 deaths a YEAR of young children by guns, as opposed to the 13 per DAY the President keeps claiming.

If Wayne’s claim is not accurate, why was Bill not at the grave site of the young 13-year-old boy molested and strangled by two homosexuals in his own home state having to look his parents in the eyes and explain why he is so pro-gay? Why wasn’t he at the grave site of the young girl in Jacksonville, Florida who was bludgeoned to death and molested by a 14-year-old boy who had just downloaded hard core pornography from his computer, having to look her parents in the eyes and explain why he does not support Internet blockers for kids?

Wayne is right . . . .Clinton’s politically orchestrated concern for Kayla Rolland is nothing more than grandstanding on the grave of a little girl who was a victim of gun and drug laws not being inforced now, and a breakdown in the American family.

Wayne is right to call Clinton and Al Gore on their shameless posturing for political purposes. I wonder if the Republicans on Capitol Hill will show this much spine?

Father God, we come before you in Jesus Christ’s name and on the basis of His shed blood on behalf of our president, George W. Bush, his wife Laura and their children Barbara and Jenna.

We ask You to show them great and mighty things and teach them in the way of wisdom. For as Your word was to David, we ask it be given to President Bush. The Spirit of the Lord spoke in and by me, and His word was upon my tongue. The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me, When one rules over men righteously, ruling in the fear of God, He dawns on them like the morning light, when the sun rises on a cloudless morning, when the tender grass springs out of the earth, through clear shining after rain. Truly, does not my house stand so with God? For He has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure. For will He not cause to prosper all my help and my desire? We ask that the path of Mr. Bush would be uncompromisingly just and righteous, like the light of dawn, that shines more and more, brighter and clearer-until it reaches its full strength and glory in the perfect day.

We thank You Lord for George W. Bush, his cabinet, for restoration, for life, Godliness and dignity to Your church. Give us grace to pray for Mr. Bush, and for all in authority.

We ask that under this administration the bands of wickedness would be loosed in our nation, oppressed people would be freed, the hungry would be fed, the poor in our nation cared for, and the gospel of Jesus Christ would be shared.

We ask that You would guide George W. and Laura continually, and make them like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

We ask that they be ones who would build the old waste places: raise up the foundations of many generations; and be called repairers of the breach, restorers of paths to dwell in.

We pray Mr. Bush and his administration will work for an America that blesses Israel knowing that Jerusalem is Your throne and those nations who bless and pray for her will prosper.

We ask that no weapon that is formed against Mr. Bush and his family would prosper, and every tongue that shall rise up against them in judgment You would condemn. Be the Bush family’s sun and shield. May You give grace and glory: withhold no good thing from them as they walk uprightly.

Because You have set Your love upon George W. and Laura Bush, therefore will You deliver them: You will set them on high, because they have known Your name. They shall call upon You, and You will answer them; You will be with them in trouble: You will deliver them, and honor them. With long life will You satisfy them and You will show them Your salvation.

Scriptures referred to include: Jer. 33:3, Prov. 4:11, II Sam. 23:2-5, Prov. 4:18, I Tim. 2:1, Isa. 58:9-12, Matt. 24:14, Ps. 122:6, Jer. 3:17, Isa. 54:17, Ps. 84;11 & Ps. 91:14-16.

So, Are you for 86? What an interesting name for a pill that causes death. It almost seems to be a cruel irony for women, who once again will be the political guinea pigs of the social engineers. Since 86 is the numerical symbol for death, the question each woman must ask herself as she takes a convenient exit from an irresponsible decision is . . . are you for death? But we really can’t be too hard on women who are sold yet one more lie by an industry determined to play God with life and remake the world in their humanist image. Women have been lied to about the abortion issue for over 25 years and millions bare the scars of an agenda to rid the world of unwanted kids, protect the environment, and promote free sex without responsibility. The only problem is, they forgot that a human being’s life and emotions are tied to each one of those questionable goals. And now, women, once again bear the burden alone of a decision made by two.

The fact is RU486 is going to put more responsibility back on the woman because she will learn very quickly that a few minutes of physical pleasure is not worth the misery and possible death she will suffer as a result of failing to practice what the government has spent millions teaching kids . . . safe sex. And for all the men and women who engage in sex without fear of consequences . . . what becomes of that act for them as they age? As they want to have children and find they can’t because they sacrificed their immortality on the alter of convenience and desire? What would happen in this nation if suddenly there were no more pregnancies? There were no more births? How many years would it take for the god-makers to realize they don’t control destiny and that there truly is sanctity in human life. Our male congressmen . . . .and candidates for higher office, smugly congratulate themselves that they are giving a woman yet one more option to destroy her life, her relationships and her emotional stability. But what if they realized one day . . . that choice really wasn’t theirs to give and God held the souls of each one of these little babies in heaven until they were treasured on earth? What would happen to the pro-choice lobby, the abortion clinics, they abortion pill manufacturers and distributors, manufacturers of baby products and food, ob-gyns, public schools, children’s books, movies, dollhouses, little shoes? There would be no need for any of these reminders that children were expendable and ordered like pizza and disposed of like tissue paper. Because, by our actions as a nation, and now the authorization of this new abortion pill, we are saying that life is not sacred, and we really don’t want the burden of children.

God hears these prayers, sees these actions and many times gives us what we think we want . . . when we don’t really know what that is. But there are always . . . always . . . consequences for what we hope for, what we work for, and what we ask for. And God says and demonstrates repeatedly . . . He won’t be mocked.

As the spiritual sides are being clearly distinguished, the most dangerous place will be in the middle of the road.

When God parted the Red Sea with his hand he made a way clear for His people to be liberated from the bondage they were in. They chose liberty.

But the armed soldiers of Pharaoh chose to follow the orders of a man who was blinded with anger. In thinking they were in control, powerful and mightier than the Israelites, they lost their lives because they ended up in the middle of the road between the two vast extremes of decision.

God says to be either hot for Him or cold against Him because if we are lukewarm He will spit us out of His mouth.

There are many today who are riding the fence of complacency, and have abrogated control of their lives to people who promise to make them happy, keep them financially stable, and preserve for them the right to pursue every whim they desire. But as the two sides of the Red Sea crashed in on the dutiful pawns of Pharaoh, so too will the spiritual walls crash in and either drown the muddled middle, or force them to choose sides.

Now is the time for that decision.

Today marks exactly two years since we began our daily radio commentaries.

If you have been hearing the commentaries, you know we cover a wide variety of issues.

We get hundreds of calls and e-mails asking why you don’t hear what we talk about, in the mainstream press. Well . . . that’s one of the purposes for the commentaries.

We realize there is a need for an alternative source of information. But we also want to encourage our listeners to think for themselves, speak for themselves and not allow themselves to be co-opted, marginalized or intimidated.
