To say the amnesty bill is an emotional issue is an understatement. The Capitol Hill phones have been ringing non-stop, causing some members to simply unplug them, and turn off their answering machines. They are hearing from their constituents that they don’t want this amnesty bill to pass and they are ignoring these pleas.

But to have a citizen arrested because they disagree is beyond the pale and begs the question, why do they care more about illegal aliens than they do their own constituents?

Homeless activist, Ted Hayes, was on Capitol Hill, like thousands of other citizens who make unscheduled visits to their congressional offices, and to other offices that don’t represent their congressional district. There is an open door policy on Capitol Hill, and anyone who has been there or worked there knows it.

Ted, who founded and ran the homeless shelter in South Central L.A., called Dome Village, was in Washington on June 19 to visit Hon. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick on the issue of immigration. In the elevator going to her floor, he and his colleagues, Mr. James Spencer and Mr. Terrance Lang, began a conversation with some folks from Chicago who were going to see Maxine Waters in an unscheduled, meeting. Ted told them that James was from her district in Los Angeles, and they would tag along and see if they could see her as well.

When they all arrived at the office, both groups were warmly welcomed by the staff.  The Chicago group was ushered into Maxine’s personal office, and Ted, James and Terrance, waited patiently in the front room of the congressional office. They could hear laughter coming from her office and felt it was a sign that she was in a good mood and would receive their concerns about the amnesty bill.

Ted’s concern with the bill is that, as a black man who has worked with the homeless and disadvantaged for years, he sees an amnesty bill as one more obstacle for poor blacks to overcome. He sees the illegal aliens in his home area of Los Angeles putting an insurmountable burden on the social welfare and education system, and sees jobs that would ordinarily go to his people . . . going to the illegals. And when he speaks out about it, he is castigated as a racist, called names, slandered and threatened.

But this day, he was hopeful that since Maxine was seeing people half way across the nation, from a totally different district, that she would take the time to talk to one of her own constituents and their friends.

After the meeting ended though, and the Chicago group left, buoyed by the personal, engaging encounter, they waited hopefully for her to emerge from her private office and give them an audience. She did emerge, but not to talk to them. She walked right past them, which is hard to do in a ten by ten foot reception area, with two grown men standing, and one sitting. But she did, leaving the congressional office and heading for the hall. Ted got up to follow her asking why she was doing this . . . why wasn’t she going to talk to them? To this query she spun around and responded, “You are full of sh-t”, “You are full of sh-t, Ted Hayes.” I forgot to mention that she knows Ted, and has known him for 23 years. For those of you who don’t know Ted, he can be imposing in his appearance, standing 6’7”, dressed in long robs, dreadlocks, skullcap and sandals. It would be easy for the guards, who heard the ruckus, to assume that he was a foreign assailant and a threat to the congresswoman.

When he suggested that if she turns her back on her black constituents . . .the way she just did to them, and votes for the amnesty bill, that she would be through in congress. She would be finished. The female guard took this as a terrorist threat, and handcuffed him. Congresswoman Maxine Waters did nothing to prevent this, show a semblance of leadership and come to the aid of a good man that she has known for 23 years.

She could have said, “It’s ok officer, Ted is a constituent, and from the LA area, he and I disagree on a lot of issues, but believe me, he is not a terrorist. He is just passionate, as I am, about certain issues.” Did she do this? Did she care about this man she has known, being handcuffed in the halls of congress, escorted out the front doors of the Rayburn House Office Building, jailed, and charged with disorderly conduct? No, but what she did care about was whether or not he would talk to the press. Her office called and expressed her concern that this story of his arrest not be leaked to the press, and not get back to her district.

He said he would honor that request because he wanted to do the right thing, and did not want to hurt her in any way. He was just trying to have a conversation about illegal immigration and how it was hurting blacks and was confused as to why she was turning her back on her people, and was more sympathetic with people not only not from her district . . . but also not from her country.

The reason you are hearing about this now, is that he called me from the airport to apologize for not being able to call me on the 19th, to verify that we were going to get together. He sounded very embarrassed and ashamed that he had been arrested, and told me that was why he had not called. He asked me not to say anything to the press, but I told him his arrest was a matter of public record and anyone could get access to the details. And, people have right to know how out of control and arrogant this congress is on this, and many other issues.

Realizing that if this story got out, that she could look like a real elitist hypocrite in her district, Maxine offered to drop the charges if Ted would come in and apologize. Basically, denying that she was culpable of any wrong doing, even hitting him in the chest when he tried to come back into her office as she was slamming the door on him. So, she wants HIM to come and kiss her ring, and beg for mercy, and she will drop the charges.

That is a type of coercive blackmail that is in full operation on Capitol Hill, surrounding this amnesty bill, in the form of markups and pork-laden amendments. Even though almost 80% of Americans are against this bill, and have tried and tried to make their voices heard . . . they are also getting the Maxine Waters treatment, without the handcuffs and jail cell. They are being ignored, mocked, ridiculed and demonized by these people who are supposed to be “representing” them.

Congress is totally out of control, and out of touch. It is all about power and newfound votes, to keep that power. And it is both parties . . . not just Maxine’s democrat party. From Trent Lott to Lindsey Graham, who refer to those opposing the bill as bigots, and conservative talk radio as the fuel flaming those bigoted flames, the lines are clearly being drawn.

The two Americas that John Edward’s loves to talk about are his America of wealthy, elitist politicians who feel they are above the law, above the rest of us, and hold the purse strings to pay for their self-serving projects that ensure they will not be defeated. And just to sweeten the pot, if they let illegals move to the front of the line of citizenship, they hope to get rewarded with their votes. They are the new constituent de jour, and they aren’t even citizens. They slam doors in the faces of real citizens, while carrying the water for lawbreakers who have no vested interest in protecting our national interests or freedoms. The other America is the regular taxpayer who has to pay for their vanities, their well-crafted follies that ensure their survival in a job that we trusted them with.

Ted is symbolic of all of us who are classified as the disdainful necessities of absolute power. Their purring and posturing before an election ensures that once they are safely ensconced in their position of arrogant assumption, they can order the electorate to the back of the political bus and ignore their cries of protest and opposition. They can have us arrested and offer to drop charges only if we acknowledge before a tribunal that yes, they are all powerful, all knowing all seeing, and incapable of doing any wrong.

If they want to prove that the assumption I have made is wrong, then prove it by taking all rights for these illegal aliens, to ever vote, out of the amnesty bill. Make us believe that it is not about the votes and there is some higher, altruistic reason for this bill. They can’t, and they won’t. They will sell out our heritage for a handful of votes to keep them in the position of having the power to destroy each of us, and will demonstrate that absolute power by having us handcuffed and thrown in jail if we disagree with them.

And if we continue to let them do this, then shame on us.

How many public buildings have you passed with fences, security cameras, gates, guards and any measure necessary to keep us out of our own public property. And why does our government feel a need to erect a fortress around our White House? It is because they know that in a country this big, there are bound to be a few loose nuts who want to do harm to institutions they either don’t understand, don’t believe in, or feel are dangerous to their own existence. Gee, sort of like suicide bombers who slip over our open borders?

When you drive through any city in America, and down most highways, you will see cameras positioned strategically on poles to catch you breaking the law. And even if you don’t see them, there is proof that they saw you when you receive those blurry little photos in the mail with a blowup of your own license plate.

So our government is not only able to take pictures of us going about our daily lives, but they can find us and show us how incredibly smart they are.

So, why is it that people who enter our country illegally are exempt from this type of invasive treatment which reminds each and everyone of us, no matter how lawful we think we are, that the government is there watching at all times. This is the same government that refuses to protect the border, mount cameras connected to a massive data base with facial recognition software integrated with alarm systems that can deploy guards to apprehend these lawbreakers before they can do serious harm to our fellow citizens.

The same assumption that is applied to each American citizen, that we are all potentially a criminal, thus the need to enclose, lock and secure every federal or state institution or building . . . should be applied to people we don’t even know and can’t find. People who don’t have social security numbers, cell phones that are traceable, addresses that are required to open accounts and get loans, or tax forms that are expected, on time, every year. Why are there double standards in the minds of elected officials, from both parties, who insult not only our intelligence, but our freedoms, by saying WE are not honorable, but illegal aliens are. We are not worthy of open access to OUR buildings, but foreigners are worthy of access to our country, our property, our homes, our children, our jobs, our tax base, our educational system, our medical care . . . our “freedom.”

There was a time in our country when Plessey v. Ferguson (1896) ignored the 14th Amendment and suggested that determining a separate but equal society would satisfy the intent of the Amendment which was passed in order to insure that recently freed slaves had the same rights as every other US citizen.

This travesty of justice, was thankfully overturned in Brown vs. Board of Education (1954), much to the chagrin of many southern Democrat governors who chose to shut down public schools rather than integrate them. These were duly elected politicians who, like many today, continued in their arrogance and stupidity, to ignore the rule of law.

That same mentality of disparate laws being applied unequally for different classes of people is being pushed by elected officials who have turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to their constituents, nationwide, in the hopes of . . . what? Getting a whole new group of constituents who will see them as heroes and throw them their vote? That problem can easily be solved by just one courageous member of congress offering an amendment to the amnesty bill that says that any person coming into the country illegally, regardless of what legal status they obtain, including citizenship, can never vote. The only way they can get the right to vote, is by standing in line with the rest of law abiding would-be citizens.

It’s not only about fairness but it is an insult to the heritage of black Americans to allow people who receive citizenship to automatically get the right to vote, if they broke the law to get here. The 13th Amendment which passed in 1865, liberated the slaves who were brought here, against their will. It took three more years, and another constitutional amendment, to receive full citizenship. And even then, they didn’t get the right to vote for another two years when the 15th Amendment was passed. It took over 250 years for these “immigrants” to get the right to vote.

There are illegal aliens who are voting today. How do we know? In California during pro-illegal rallies, tables are blatantly set up for illegals to register to vote. There are no requirements to prove citizenship in order to vote in California. In Texas, illegals are complaining that they are being called to jury duty. Only citizens can serve on a jury. It turns out, they are not citizens, but their names were retrieved from the voter registration logs, and thus added to the list of qualified jurists.

So, who really is running the country? Who really put all these elected officials in office and why are they not responding to the vast majority of the American people who have made their collective voices heard that they oppose this amnesty bill? And why is any discussion to make the borders of America as safe against invasion, as say, the White House, met with accusations of being racist bigots by politicians from both parties?

Let’s be consistent . . . either trust all Americans and take down the fences and cameras that insinuate our guilt . . . or put a fence on the border to keep people who, by the fact that they ignore our laws have proven their guilt. Our elected officials can’t have it both ways, and if they continue to ignore our voices, like Mike Nifong, who ignored the rule of law and clear cut evidence, then we will have to be the ones to hold them accountable to the rule of law and curtail their power trip of blatant arrogance and vote them out of office. The choice is still ours . . . hopefully.

What do Paris Hilton and illegal immigrants have in common? They have both sparked a revolt by the American people who oppose disparate treatment for similar behavior, and who are tired of the double standards that are applied unequally to different classes of people.

In the case of both the “illegal foreigners” and Paris, it is the “haves” versus the “have nots.” The “haves” are Paris and illegals who possess both the means and the arrogance to think they are better than everyone else and “entitled” to special treatment. Paris and illegals have not only thumbed their noses at the system, but have pushed their way to the front of the line of law abiding people who have systematically followed the rule of law.

But the American people have pushed back, for the first time in a long time, and the collective push is not reflective of a specific political party. The phone calls tying up the switchboard on Capitol Hill were flooding both the Democrat and Republican offices telling them to vote against the amnesty bill, which would have strapped an insurmountable economic burden to their kids for generations. Anyone who pays taxes, follows the rule of law, and cares about the future of the country got it . . . no matter what party they are registered with.

And when Paris was selectively “pardoned” her full time in jail, the same public pushed back and said they either want that treatment for their child, or their child’s treatment for her. They didn’t have the lawyers, the name, the influence or the arrogance to believe that the law would be interpreted differently for them. But what they did have was a sense of justice that has been slowly receding in our culture.

In the San Diego school district a public school offers Muslim prayers and a teacher to lead those prayers, to a classroom of Muslims, yet Christian children are not allowed to mention Christmas or Easter in school. Oh, that’s fair. Al Gore wins superfluous awards for suggesting we, the unwashed masses, should ride around on bicycles, while he delivers that encyclical in private jets, spewing tons of toxic waste (literal and figurative) into our atmosphere. But we are evil . ..  he is smart. Not so smart they he didn’t realize that most of the clips of him in his pontificating, self-indulgent, factually inaccurate cartoon, in limos and jets might possibly make him look like a hypocrite.

But, that’s OK, according to another multi-millionaire who plays an actor in the movies, Leonardo De Caprio. So smart the Leo is that he honestly justifies the pontification of the Alster by saying . . . he is bringing truth and enlightenment to you idiots so therefore he deserves, and MUST fly around in jets to accomplish this laudable goal. Does that mean the smartest women in the world will get the space shuttle if she gets to the White House?

They apply that same logic to their cousin Paris by suggesting that she brings so much joy and glamour to our ordinarily drab days that we should not force her to stay in jail with the other plebeians, because she is special. She somehow elevated herself, with the help of a totally clueless media base, to the point that she should be worshiped, adored, pampered and rewarded for bad behavior.

No wonder illegal aliens risk it all to live that American dream. Think of it, a land where you can have unfettered access to money you didn’t even earn, gain success for doing nothing but partying and getting drunk all the time, and attaining celebrity status for thumbing your nose at the law . . . repeatedly, and getting the unified sympathy of your fellow class of irresponsible dilettantes. Is this a great country or what??

It is a great country, because the vast majority of hard working men and women are tired of being called “bigots” by the law breakers, “stupid” by their elected officials, “irrelevant” by people who memorize lines for a living, and “unpatriotic” because all they want to do is preserve our freedom, protect our borders and help provide, in their own way, for the common defense of their fellow man.

No wonder they spoke up and spoke out, because THEY are America . . . they are the heart and soul of who and what this country is. They deserve more than mealy mouthed, spineless politicians stomping on their rights and freedoms and telling them that they are the problem. They deserve more than illegal foreign nationals mocking them, burning their flag, demanding rights and promising to “take back” their country. These Americans who spoke out, who challenged status quo, questioned authority, and held their elected officials accountable provide a stark contrast to spoiled “starlets” and arrogant lawbreakers.

They are the “We” in the preamble to the Constitution.

A convergence of recent news articles, and a clash of cultures, has created confusion for many, including Don Imus and the Duke Lacrosse players, who were falsely accused of rape.

For the past few months we have seen, non stop, the national fascination of a woman whose fame revolved around her stripping, seducing a rich old man, and having sex with enough men to bring into question the paternity of her child. When they revealed the real father, the response was as though American Idol had been replaced by a new reality show . . . American Daddy.

Joe Francis, voyeur producer of a real time reality “strip” show called, Girls Gone Wild, is held responsible for the actions of kids who see the lifestyle of someone like Anna Nicole Smith as acceptable, mainstream and worthy of emulation. As stupid as it was, it can’t be a shock that hormone ravished teenage boys would think hiring a stripper for a party is now a mainstream occurrence. They could have saved themselves some money though, and invited one of the Girls Gone Wild chicks to take it off for free.

And then Don Imus, like Hillary, tries to sound black, and botches what he must think is a line in a rap song, and insults a group of talented, bright young girls, who have not gone wild, but have gone to college, and just want to compete athletically and academically.

Three young Duke students were a breath away from serving time in prison for an accusation by a person, who under different circumstances, could have been the celebrated stripper that has held the nation captive to the sorted details of her personal life. How can the discussion revert to the original cause of these fiascos without condemning the fact that these boys hired a stripper in the first place, which would contradict the public’s fascination with Anna Nicole Smith, and rap stars use of the word “ho”, which contradicts the outrage that a shock jock would say the same thing?

How is someone supposed to sift through the nuances of shocking humor and acceptable characterizations of a variety to issues barraging the culture? It is a mine field that seems to be littered with the bodies of those who drew the daily-double-standards card and are held accountable to a different standard than those who sit back smugly in their ability to not only trash talk, but be rewarded for it.

This is not the first time Don Imus has said racially insensitive things, and since he was never condemned or criticized before, the logical conclusion is that the culture has shifted to the point where this behaviour is now mainstream. Because the usually flappable feminists have remained silent over the dehumanization of black women in popular rap songs and lyrics, the assumption is that the black community does see their women as “hos” and to speak against this type of characterization of all innocent black women is considered judgmental, and culturally unenlightened. Anna Nicole Smith is elevated to the level of a rock star who has replaced the image of the Madonna as the most important mother in the history of the world and her accomplishment was being a porn star who slept with a lot of different guys to the points where they have to do a DNA test to see which of the many contenders is the “winner.” And the man who films young girls acting out their Nicole wannabe fantasies . . . sits in jail for filming their bizarre, public behaviour, which pretty much aligns itself with the lyrics of the rap songs.

Are you following this? So who are the victims and who are culprits? Is Imus a clueless bore or a victim of a schizophrenic culture that simultaneously applauds and condemns people behaving badly? Were the girls-gone-wild exploited by a rolling camera or were they seeking the same notoriety of a crotchless Britney, girl-kissing Madonna, or bed-hopping Anna Nicole? Who is the victim, who is the culprit? When rap musicians and record companies are rewarded with multi-million dollar contracts and record sales by calling black women whores, are women then victims or culprits for not denouncing the misogyny and rejecting this characterization?

Who are the victims, who are the culprits and what message is it we want to send as a cultured society, as a class of people, as a nation, as a gender? When will we draw the line, and how do we accept the names we are called when we do?

Perhaps the lesson in all this, as simple as Gold, should Rule, and a rewind with that as the standard would show all of this controversy totally mute. Anna Nicole would have been nurtured and protected and told her value is not in her body, but in her heart, and young impressionable women would have followed that positive roll model. Women-degrading rap music would have been rejected as offensive, oppressive and a modern-day reflection of what slaveholders thought of their chattel. Young girls would not be encouraged to strip for young men who have been raised on a culture where sex is a god and personal gratification the burnt offering.

If we teach our children to respect and honor one another, not exploit for selfish desires or allow themselves to be seen as sexual objects, then all of these headline events would possibly, never have occurred. And, in this imagined world of grace and empathy, the first time Don Imus strayed from a platform of civility and decorum, he would have been gently reminded that it is not polite to call people names he himself would find offensive.

The gyrating girls, college strippers, pornography, rap-infested songs, and commercially supported trash talk, are all symptoms of these things not happening. They are the byproduct of a country gone wild while innocent, hardworking, honorable young women like the Rutgers’ women’s basketball team . . . are the real victims in all of this, and a culture that allowed it to degrade to this level . . . is the collective culprit.

Hillary Clinton made conspiracy theories quite fashionable with her insistence that the evil “right-wing conspiracy” was responsible for her husband cheating on her with a girl young enough to be her daughter. The sycophant press set their liberal jaws and nodded in agreement, not even bothering to ask how all those people could have fit in the Oval office while Monica earned her presidential kneepads. But that seems to be the modus operandi with liberals . . . when they either make a mistake or don’t like the facts, they point fingers at the conspiratorial boogieman, blaming someone else for their shortcomings.

Take Tokyo Rosie, just one taco short of a full combination platter, who insists that 911 was an inside job in which George Bush is responsible. For someone as dumb as she continues to claim Bush is . . . she certainly is giving him credit for an amazing Tom Cruise type impossible mission to bring down the twin towers and create a situation where something was hot enough to melt steel. She of course thinks there is no fire hot enough to do that.

Tokyo Rosie needs to get out more. If she went to Shenyang, China, for example, she could step over open channels of fluid metal flowing dangerously under foot in one of the biggest steel foundries in China. Yes, Rosie, they have fire that is hot enough to melt steel. It is really hard to believe that not one woman at the table in The View doesn’t challenge her ridiculous assumption and ask her if she thinks her car just sort of came out of the ground shaped like that. Or the pots and pans she uses . . . on a stove . . . had to at some point be shaped by a fire, much hotter than the fire on her stove. It is presumptuous of me to think that she cooks, but by all objective standards I can safely assume she eats.

But what is more interesting about her wild theory, shared by other mentally challenged liberals, is that they don’t seem to have an answer to where all those people are who were in the nonexistent airplanes that didn’t fly into the buildings that really caused them to collapse. And if the planes did hit them when they did, are they saying that the detonators were in the basement timed to coincide with the impact of the planes at the exact same time, while the planes didn’t really exist? And what were the other two planes doing? Why would Bush want to fly a plane into the Pentagon when Rumsfeld was in it? If he wanted to get rid of him . . . which he didn’t for another 5 years, he could have just fired him.

So they are saying that the planes didn’t hit the building, and that Barbara Olson and hundreds of others, are in hiding on an island some place, waiting until the gig is up. “Wow Rosie, you are just too smart for us. George and I really thought we could pull one over on you, but boy, we should have known better. You and the other smartest woman in the world sure do know your conspiracies. No fooling you,” Barbara would say in humble resignation.

If Rosie wants to look at a conspiracy, go back to Waco and the Oklahoma City bombing. There is far more evidence of conspiracies with the added bonus of the king and queen of mysterious events and death tallies, Bill and Hillary, being in charge with Janet Reno driving the getaway car.

I absolutely hate giving the Roseter any ink, but realized today, after hearing the Brits cave to revisionist pressure not to teach the realities, horrors, and life altering facts of the holocaust, that it is never too late to speak out early and often against those who would try and distort history to suit their own personal or political agenda. It should be denounced and rebuked at the earliest sign of germination and absolutely nipped in the bud.

So the Brits are afraid of Islamic backlash if they dare speak the truth about a regime that forced the same type of fascist mind control over an entire region of the world, and we are scared of a loudmouthed bully who uses an embarrassing platform to spew her hate and venom. Everyone thinks ABC is responsible and should fire her, and that Barbara Walters has lost total control. If either of these points were true, Rosie would be doing stand up in some seedy hotel. But the fact is . . . she is mentioned daily on the nightly news, she is insulted by Donald Trump, analyzed by Bill O’Reilly and dissected by all the other pundits who marvel that she is still standing. DUH . . . she is standing because she has an audience standing slack-jawed at the train wreck that is happening before their eyes hoping to see more.

Sadly, she is symbolic of who we have become as a nation. Barbara Walters, sitting primly on the opposite side of the table, represents the old guard that created the Petri dish, mixed the concoction, and helped to transform a culture that allowed this growth to emerge. It is a growth that is a perfect reflection of the idiocy, the egotism, the lack of historic knowledge that has become our nation. A nation that is embarrassed to be a beacon of light and hope in a world that hides when cowards threaten to kill and maim in the name of religion. A nation that throws a tantrum when a war is not as quick as a movie and the consequences of failure are forgotten in a flood of self-absorption and fickle elections.

Have we forgotten who we are as a nation or have the revisionists succeeded in repainting us in the image of a failed experiment of liberty, bravery and resolve? Does a Rosie O’Donnell really reflect the heart of a country sitting with bold, obnoxious proclamations of fantasy designed specifically to derail us into utter oblivion? Her anger is that of someone who despises her own person to the point of not knowing its purpose or her own . . . much like America.

Who are we as a nation and what purpose do we serve in the world? There was a time when even the world knew our greatness, but with ex-presidents and ex-presidential candidates traveling the world, calling us names, bemoaning our greatness and undermining the sitting president, it is no wonder the world joins the chorus of anti-Americanism. When Grammy and Oscar awards have been reserved for the most creative of American bashers, destroying yet two more institutions that heretofore had been admired by all, you know the end of what we used to think was dear and sacred, is near.

And if Hillary, Rosie and the Dixie Chicks are the answer, it must have been a really stupid question. If all it takes in this country to win, to be promoted, to maintain an irrelevant job and win awards that lack credibility, is to trash America, mock its moral foundation and denounce leaders whose only goal is to protect us from annihilation . . . then it is a stupid question.

If there is any conspiracy of note, it is the one to destroy the line that separates good from evil and reconfigures the world in the image of those who would destroy others who reject their form of truth. It is a conspiracy to marginalize all rational thought and elevate the absurd. It is a conspiracy to destroy innocence and reward those who defile and reduce the sacred to the mundane. It is a conspiracy to undermine everything that will protect and defend us from people who would not only kill us, eradicate our way of life, but would actually become what these idiots claim Bush is doing now.

To compare the tactics of Don Pelosi and the Democrats to the Mafia, is actually an insult to the Mafia. In the most outrageous bribery/protection money spending bill, designed to undercut our troops on the ground in a foreign land, the Democrat majority has used their power to intimidate, payoff, bribe cajole and promise pork barrel goodies to spineless politicians while using OUR hard earned tax dollars.

All this at a time, when they are discussing an increase in the protection money we must pay them every year. They want to increase our taxes, so that they can bribe weak-minded politicians with pork for their districts so they can try and hold on to their power in 2008. And it will have to be a big tax increase to cover the 23 BILLION in pork they just penned into the budget for their role in backstabbing our young men and women in uniform.

Now, lets unravel this for a minute. Liberals claim they want to end the war because innocent kids are being killed . .. yet they disarm them at their greatest point of need. And if they are so concerned about a dangerous occupation, they need to stop funding for policemen, firefighters, sanitation workers, construction and several other professions that are far more dangerous, per capita, than serving in the military.

Since they claim President Bush “lied” to the American people about weapons of mass destruction, they need to withdraw their support for Hillary since she lied too when she said the same thing. They will have to take a sledgehammer to the pedestal they have erected for Bill Clinton, since he used WMDs as his excuse to bomb Iraq between trysts with Monica to try and get her off the front page.

Don Pelosi has let the sweet smell of power intoxicate her with the idea that she is invincible and that the American people are behind her betrayal of the troops. She and the other boomer flower children are living in the heady days when they did the exact same thing to the troops in Vietnam . . . troops that were deployed by their hero John Kennedy. They have been trying to relive their Watergate sideshow by dragging every single Republican they can think of before their star chamber to hunt for witches behind every Bush. They are a joke, an embarrassment and are out of control. Like four-year-olds left alone without supervision, these children are ill equipped to handle a job that some Americans entrusted to them. On the other hand, the anti-American group, Moveon.org is reveling in the power they now have over the congress and the U.S. and our enemies at home and abroad are toasting them.

We have seen this all before. They were the same people who were apologists for the Soviet dictators, supporters of Castro and any other petty despot who trampled the rights of “their” citizens.

Why is that every time Democrats win a race, even by a couple of points they crow that “The American people have spoken” as though the ones voting against them are aliens whose voices don’t count. You never heard them saying that about Bush beating Gore or Kerry . .. that “the American people had spoken”, and that he is “doing the work of the American people.”

And which American people is Don Pelosi talking about? She can’t mean the military families who will be affected by their cowardice and bribery. She can’t mean the men and women on the ground in a foreign land, unfunded, unprotected and exposed to greater danger. She can’t mean intelligent men and women . . . Americans . . . who understand the dangers to this country by people who want to disrupt and destroy our way of life.

Which “Americans” is she talking about? The ones who swoon at dictators like Castro, Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussein? The ones who travel abroad and announce their loathing of our country and its leaders? The ones who whine and cry when an election doesn’t go their way but insists the will of ALL Americans has been shown when they win one? The ones who think killing babies in the womb is honorable, protecting child molesters and internet pornographers is part of the constitution while taking guns from law abiding citizens is not? The ones who applaud open borders because it translates to more votes with impending amnesty, no matter how it destroys the economy and threatens our national security? The ones who leak top-secret information about our military strategies and foreign officers while holding a witch hunt for Valerie Plamb who already has a book and movie deal for a fabricated story that has left an innocent man twisting in the wind? The same Americans who turn a blind eye to the Capitol steps being defaced with anti-war, anti-American propaganda while denying little children the right to say prayers in school or mention the name of Jesus? The same Americans who want to silence opposing voices in the media, like Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity?

I am sorry . . . that is NOT America. Those people represent a group of pathetic, spoiled, self-absorbed individuals who have found themselves geographically situated between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans on a piece of real estate called the United States of America. But sadly, they have no clue as to what this nation stands for, what we have done to promote and guarantee world peace, the sacrifices true Americans have made and are still making to ensure the freedom and liberty of people who don’t even speak our language. These people are interlopers in the most amazing experiment of human kindness and sacrifice since Jesus allowed himself to be crucified for the sins of others. That is the model that this nation has embraced in spite of what these people, the ACLU and those determined to wipe that truth from the annals of history say to the contrary.

If America ceases to be good, which is what the Pelosi “Americans” would love to see . . . America that has been a beacon of hope, truth and freedom for millions around the world . . . will cease to be great. There will no longer be a line of millions forsaking all they have to come here no matter what the costs because we will become just like their withering, pathetic countries that can’t even keep their people safe at home. We will cease to be great, and it will be the Nancy Pelosis, Hillary and Bill Clintons, Cindy Sheehan’s, Dixie Chicks, Al Gores, of the world who will have paved the way to our ultimate destruction by their own selfish, immature, egotistical designs for power and control. Those are the “Americans” that would undermine our brave men and women and put them in harms way, besmirch the memories of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so they could spew their hatred and venomous anti-Bush, anti-conservative, anti-Christian, anti-American rhetoric that does nothing but embolden our enemy and justify their desire to put us out of our bi-polar, schizophrenic misery.

Like I said, to compare the despicable act of the power-blinded, money grabbing, ego-driven democrat-led congress to the Mafia . . . is an insult to the Mafia. But this insane act should be a call to all REAL Americans to go to the mattresses and fight for our kids who are now depending on real leadership, real adults, real compassion to help them in their greatest time of need.

I was at a luncheon the other day where the “ying and yang” of political punditry, Mary Matalin and James Carvelle, were in agreement about the selection of candidates for the 2008 presidential race. They basically said it was going to be a popularity contest and the front runners today will be the nominees tomorrow. Their matching short lists had McCain and Giuliani as the choices for Republicans, and Hillary and Barak Obama for the Democrat choices.

Their reasoning sounded like a pitch for an American Idol show for wanna-be presidents. Who polls best, looks best, is known by more people, greater name ID, can rally their base and appeal to moderates at the same time. Ideology and position on issues were not considered as being relevant to the choice, and they were all described as appealing to “middle America,” whatever that is. What they were describing was the kind of race you saw in high school where the popular jock beat the egghead even though the egghead would be a far superior class president and could articulate his views on a variety of issues, but couldn’t get two people to vote for him because he wasn’t “popular.”

So by these standards, the two most “popular” candidates, who should run in 2008, would be Rush Limbaugh for the Republicans and Oprah Winfrey for the Democrats. They both are pure ideologues, but have an appeal to certain segments of “middle America.” They both are household names with their negatives and positives set in concrete. They wouldn’t need to raise the billions of dollars it takes to run a campaign because they each already have a built in, daily, platform from which to espouse their political views, gain even greater exposure, motivate their base and move to convince the undecided that they are the best choice for America, yes, even middle America.

They have both proven that they can successfully administer, control, direct and lead multi-million dollar operations with the same skill and intellect it would take to lead a nation. They talk daily on a variety of issues, have instant access to just about anyone and anything, and are not in the habit of taking “no” for an answer. They know what they want, they pursue it, and by all accounts, achieve their very lofty and admirable goals.

What has John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama, and even Rudy Giuliani done? They have all been government employees and three are members of the same club of 100. Hillary earned her box of senate-shaped candy from a fadiliating spouse who knew that it would take more than roses to put the smile back on the little woman’s face.

And that giant chocking sound you hear across the nation is conservatives gagging on the idea of McCain as their nominee while it is being crammed down their throats by an all-too-gleeful chorus of moderates, liberals, and Machiavellian democrats.

Barak has served two years in that club of 100 and is naïve enough to think that if John Edwards can do it . . . then so can he. And Rudy hasn’t even begun to earn the right to run as president. When he refused to run against Hillary in his own state, it sent a huge message to the Republicans in other states that if he doesn’t even think he can beat a carpetbagging light-weight who only has the job because she married into it, then why do we think he can beat her nationally? How does he think being a mayor of a city that thinks Hillary should be president, qualifies him for even having a clue as to what the rest of the country believes?

None of them have shown exemplary skill or the ability to govern. None of them are particularly attractive and articulate, except maybe Barak. But Serial killer, Ted Bundy was attractive, intelligent and incredibly articulate according to the judge who presided over his murder trial. By the “Barak standard”, he would have been a perfect presidential candidate. But when you unravel Barak’s words, tie them to his voting record and line up the rhetoric, you see that he is just another politician who craves power and will do anything to get it . . . except serve a full term in the Senate. He will even dutifully go into West Virginia and raise money for an ex-KKK leader if that is what it takes to be president.

It was a little ironic to hear James Carvelle insist that only a known quantity, like these four, will get elected when he is responsible for an unknown Governor in the 50th ranked state on a variety of levels, throwing his hat in the ring against an incumbent president with a 92% approval rating . . . and winning. Bill Clinton won in spite of Gennifer Flowers, loathing the military and dodging the draft. Oddly . . . just a few years later, suddenly service in the military is of utmost importance in getting elected and should be a requirement of any serious candidate. Will they readjust that assessment and give Hillary a pass because she is a girl? What about Barak and Giuliani?

Americans deserve more choices than the field of hand-picked moderate/liberals that have been determined to be the only ones that can possibly be elected President of the United States. There are tens of thousands of Americans who would be better in that position but would never consider facing the abuse they know would wait them if they attempted such a dangerous fete. And there are many others who are far more qualified, who are exploring a run but are being discounted as unelectable because well-paid and positioned pundits have said so.

But conservatives especially, have the uncanny ability of upsetting political apple carts because they are constantly misunderestimated. (love that word). The RNC thought they would hold their noses and vote for Viagra Bob. But all the polling showed that while they didn’t pull the lever for him on election day, they did support the other Republican candidates running for the house and senate. They saw it this year with huge numbers, for example, in Virginia, supporting the bill that identifies marriage as between one man and one woman, but rejecting George Allen, who stupidly distanced himself from the issue.

I have said for years that every election cycle is a new experience for conservatives and candidates have to court and win every single vote. Conservatives are not lock step, they don’t vote straight party line and they not only look at issues but at candidates individually. Liberals are just the opposite. It is all about the party and the power for them. If Rush Limbaugh switched parties tomorrow, and they thought he could win the presidency, he would be the darling of the left and Hillary would be yesterday’s news. But if Hillary moves to the right to give Rush a run for his money, while still running as a Democrat, they will sing her open-minded praises and know in their hearts it is just an act to dupe . . . “middle America.”

So let’s quit fooling around, quit getting jerked around, quit hiding behind “middle America”, call their bi-annual bluff, and nominate two people who best represent the views of the two major camps in America . . .the left and the right. It would be a close, fun race and what you see, is what you would most definitely get with either Rush or Oprah. Think of the money we could save and the painful campaign commercials that we would not be forced to sit through, night after night, month after month.

If it is a popularity contest the pundits want . . . bring it on!!

I realized at a non-political fundraiser the other night that Republicans were going to win this election. In a conversation with a total stranger about nothing political, he volunteered his vitriolic, irrational hatred of all things Republican making me glad I wasn’t wearing the yellow star of Lincoln. I understood the desire of many Jews in Nazi Germany to hide their identity, feign Aryanism, avoid association with a group of people that had been so vilified by the powers and media, that to be one in that unfortunate class, meant almost certain death.

American blacks who have experienced the same thing, were not so fortunate during the dark days of racial oppression and segregation. They couldn’t hide, from the elitist Democrat, the color of their skin, which for these racists, signified second-class status.

My immediate, and uncharacteristic reaction to this ad homonym attack by a total stranger, who was certainly assuming that I shared his demented passion, was to hide my identify behind a superficial, but convenient response, “I’m an independent.” I decided to shoulder my rifle and quietly ignore his pathological insistence that all Republicans should be destroyed, because no amount of discussion would persuade him that inspite of a nice tuxedo, he was an uninformed knuckle dragger.

Republicans, conservatives, and even our president are so vilified by the left, all over the world, that a foreign leader, can come to our shores, call him “satan” with a sulphur trail in his wake, and the mainstream media, smile approvingly. Conservative blacks that have achieved the highest levels of accomplishment in the world can be characterized as Aunt Jeminas, Uncle Toms, Oreos, sellouts, white-wanna-bes, and the liberal elites smile and say, “It’s a free country. People are entitled to their opinion.”

The victims of terrorism on Sept. 11, 2001 are referred to by tenured college professors as “Little Eichmans”, Anne Coulter, Pat Buchanan, George Allen, are hit with pies, battered with insults and silenced with shouts from mindless minions of the liberal institutes of lower learning, and fellow liberals shrug and say, “Heh, they had it coming.” But heaven forbid that you deny a terrorist his prayer rug and Ramadan menu. The left has compassion for Saddam and fellow terrorists, but produce movies that glorify the assassination of a sitting U.S. president who is Republican.

Don’t you see . . . .because conservatives and Republicans, are so intimidated into hiding their passions and beliefs from people who imagine a world free from them . . . like segregationists of old . . . the assumption is that they don’t exist, and are shrinking in numbers. But the reality is that they are underground, staying in the closet, hiding their yellow star from the forces that would single them out, insult them and destroy them if possible. Yes . . . assassination means to kill. This is why Republicans will prevail. Because those being pushed against a wall, silenced with pejoratives and made to feel like second class citizens for merely wanting a strong defense, win the war on terrorism, keep more of their hard earned money, and decide where and how their kids are educated, will fight back in the voting booth.

The other reason Republicans will prevail is that when Christian, David Kuo, suggested in his book that Christians should fast from politics, the left practically chocked on saliva, falling all over themselves to piously agree with that assessment. He made the talk show rounds and was treated like leftist royalty because he fulfilled their agenda of keeping Christians from the polls on Election Day. Unfortunately, their little plan backfired and it reignited the religious base who felt themselves being lulled into a state of non-action because according to people who don’t even believe in God . . . . “That is what Jesus would do.”

Another reason the Republicans will prevail is that thousands of blacks are leaving the democrat party, and the liberal plantation, and embracing their core values, which have been totally ignored by the Democrats. But Democrats still use the black churches to bring their candidates in just before an election to try and secure their base. But where are they the rest of the 20 months when the pastors stand in unity against gay marriage, or abortion that is creating genocide on black America? Where are they when black communities raise their voices against illegal immigration because it is draining systems that their constituents rely on? Where are they when black leaders explain time and time again that school vouchers were designed to help young black kids escape poverty and despair? They are told to be quiet and move to the back of the political bus.

The blinders are coming off and black leaders are expressing their frustration, impatience, and in some cases, outrage at the patronizing, elitist Democrats, and will be escaping the plantation on Election Day.

In the quiet, hushed corners of middle America, while no one is listening, conversations are taking place that remind each other that tax cuts will be repealed if Democrats take over. The low interest rates that allowed record numbers of Americans to buy homes will increase, causing many to have to sell or be foreclosed on. The borders will remain porous opening America for greater attack. The House will spend two years trying to cover their butts and equalize Bill Clinton’s legacy by dragging Bush into an unwarranted impeachment proceeding. And the war on terror, that is being fought abroad, leaving us without a single attack for over 5 years, will be waged on our soil because Democrats have shown time and time again their denial that a war exists, and their lack of resolve to fight it. They will continue Clinton’s plan of cutting the military and defense budget, they will refuse to fund border security bills, and will allow special interest groups like the tiny, but powerful misogynist gay lobby to determine how we raise our kids, and what preachers can say from the pulpit while continuing to mock the institution of marriage.

Republicans will prevail for precisely the reason it looks like they won’t . . . they will keep their powder dry, go to the polls, pull a lever behind closed doors and hopefully prevent a philosophical takeover of the country that forces people to be so afraid of losing their liberties, that they flock to the polls to ensure that doesn’t happen. If the attacks are merely verbal or wrapped in pastry at this point . . . you can be sure their deepest desire of “destroying” all things conservative or Republican will begin taking place the minute they are given the reigns of power.

Another reason the Republicans will win is that it is the Republicans who are polling negatively toward their own party. But like a brother who stole your girlfriend and broke your heart . . . he is still your brother who is being attacked by the local bully. You let him get beat up for a while, because, he deserves it. He let you down by moderating on issues that needed a line in the sand, and cheated on his conservative base by trying to appeal to the opposition in order to win their approval. But Republicans realize that after the bully finishes beating up their brother, he is coming for them, and unless they regroup as a family, they will a be picked off, one by one.

This election cycle has served as a wake up call to conservatives to stop hiding, stop pretending to be moderate, because they realize they are going to be vilified anyway unless they embrace the far left radical agenda of the Howard Deans of the country. There is no way to win this battle unless we have the courage to face our opposition head on, and not shrink in fear. But it will take more courage to be vulnerable, than it takes to be a bully . . .. so in the end . . .the strong will prevail, and those out of power will still benefit from a secure nation, reduced taxes, safe neighborhoods and environments, even if their names aren’t decorating the halls of power.

My son’s Boy Scout troop is going to be so happy to hear that finally, Democrats agree that there is something very wrong with grown, homosexual men, like Congressman Mark Foley, having access to young, innocent, impressionable kids. We were all beginning to think they had totally abrogated their role in upholding moral values. We are all anxious to attend the press conference where Nancy Pelosi and Rudy Giuliani, join hands to denounce NAMBLA (National Man Boy Love Association) as an illegal organization that serves only the purpose of Foley-type men, preying on young boys for their sexual pleasure.

And wow . . . the dream of kids being able to go to the library and have filtered internet access without freenies downloading child porn in the booth next to them will finally be a reality, thanks to the moral leadership of the Democrats.

And finally, the nation can unite behind the idea that adults who prey on children should be shamed, their reputations ruined, and they should be prosecuted, and locked up for life. It is very fortunate that all of this came out just before an election; otherwise it would have gone totally unnoticed. There would have been no political currency passing through the hands of people who have the pursuit of power at any cost, as their soul agenda.

It is exciting to see that all those moral values that have been a part of the Republican platform for years are applied to their own, and are embraced by people who back slid a little during the Clinton years, but heh, they are finally in touch with reality.

Now, if these same moral giants, who are stepping up so boldly to rightly denounce Cong. Foley, and zealously clamor for Dennis Hastert’s resignation for leadership, would apply these same standards to say . . . abortion, that would be great. After all, kids are dying here, not just being propositioned by perverts.

They can then really prove they are serious about the moral breakdown of the country, by admitting that marriage is intended for one man and one woman, and medically, the gay lifestyle shortens life and endangers those involved. It will be refreshing to finally have an honest discussion about what really causes AIDS and how it can be prevented. We should expect this outraged Democratic leadership to condemn the sexualization of young children on porn sites that are making billions by exploiting their innocence. They will finally be the moral voice against sex trafficking that exploits women and children.

But what is most fortunate about this incident of discovering a Republican congressman using the Internet to attract young boys, is that he wasn’t a Democrat. Because then, we would be forced to sit and listen to the twisted logic and values clarification techniques we had to endure during Clinton’s tryst with a young girl who was in his charge. We would be told that what someone does in private is his own business. We would be reminded that Republicans are the ones who want to have access to people’s e-mail to see if there are terrorists but use it to out the perverts. We would be assaulted by the homosexual lobby that would whine about their oppressed state and how Martin Luther King marched so that they could mock the institution of marriage.

Oh thank you thank you thank you Mark Foley for being a Republican, for forcing the Democrats into a very uncomfortable Hobson’s choice of winning an election or losing face over issues they have built their entire existence on. Now . . . if only they could get Senator Ted Kennedy to finally apologize for drowning a young girl and leaving her there all night . . . I think there might be moral redemption for the Democrats in the near future. And that is something all Americans can support. . . no matter what party they belong to.

It would take paragraphs to dissect the psychological and pathological disconnect that Bill Clinton exhibited in his amazing retreat from reality in the “interview” with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. Chris should be thankful that we don’t live in a dictatorship with Bill at the helm. The cleanup crew would be just now getting the stains off the wall.

But, in spite of the incredible ego, the disconnect with anyone who doesn’t have their head three feet up his butt, and his suicidal desire to create a legacy where eternal sound bites have set up irrevocable monuments that prevent it . . . Bill Clinton has created a deflector shield for his party.

Think about it . . . you have George Allen in Virginia, being accused of being a racist because he challenges an interloper at a campaign event, but in the state, right next to his, a former and unrepentant member of the KKK is running for the exact same office . . . US Senate. Robert Byrd, from West Virginia, is on the record as calling blacks “a throw back to the darkest specimens of the wild,” while supporting the act of lynching at KKK rallies, yet because George Allen wears cowboy boots and chews tobacco . . . he is a racist?

Why do you think Democrats continue to return a man to the Senate who throws around the “n” word like a horseshoe at a KKK BBQ, while dredging up accusations, three decades old, about his fellow Senator? Because they are all Democrats who have convinced the world that they are the “champions” of civil rights for blacks and can say and do anything that a Republican would get lynched for. That is why former KKK members can still flash the “n” word around with impunity and without fear of retribution. They can even send their new black senator in to shamelessly do their bidding by raising $800,000 for this former member of a despicable group. Who is on the plantation now? But have them switch parties and honor a 100-year-old colleague with historic pleasantries, and all hell breaks lose, because there are double standards for Democrats and Republicans where race is involved.

What we are experiencing in the micro with Bill Clinton, and the macro with benign racism as an accepted, yet ignored reality in the Democratic party, is a disconnect or cognitive dissidence. Bill Clinton changes history the minute it is made, from suggesting ice to a rape victim, to denying he had sex with “that” woman. And the party that so loyally protects his rear end, to the detriment of their own extremities, has revised history to the point of convincing the party that was founded to abolish slavery, that they are the true oppressors.

They are similar to the abusive boyfriend who beats up the woman and tells her it is her fault for making him lose his temper. He has her so traumatized and beaten down that she doesn’t even know who she is anymore and believes his lies, takes his abuse and rejects the reality of what she knows in her heart is true. Clinton will continue to react with the type of vitriol and anger he showed with Chris Wallace because he believes he is entitled, superior, flawless and destined to be the ruler of all. He is very much like the slave owners who saw blacks as their chattel and had a whip at the ready if a condescending interviewer dared to question his lack of integrity and selective memory.

Bill Clinton is Robert Byrd, who is the heart of the Democratic Party, which has always been about superiority, elitism and arrogance. They are the party that split the country to keep blacks enslaved while 500,000 people gave their lives to unite the country again. They continue to split the nation with lies, distortions, character assassinations and personal attacks against good men and women who are just doing their jobs, so the rest of us can learn the truth and live in peace and freedom.

When Bill hissed at Chris Wallace, he hissed at the vast majority of Americans who may not embrace the moniker “conservative” but instinctively knew he was talking about them when he railed against their existence, very much like Robert Byrd and the KKK railed against the existence of blacks. It is all hate based and it is all such old news.

I do pity Bill . . . and Bob . . . and the Democrats because their desire to revise history and their image has caused a most unusual collision of historic similarities that makes even the most average person repulsed at the idea of going back to a time when a segment of our society was referred to with such derision and hate. Thank goodness there are no firing walls, shackles or nooses in our society today. Sadly, though, there are men who would love to reinstate them, and are proposing a virtual lynching of Senator George Allen’s character while denying that Robert Byrd and Bill Clinton are culpable of any wrong doing. It is double standards like this that continue to tear a nation apart.
